About MJB Models

MJB Models

MJB Models is run by Mark Bandy, a Baltimore, MD based train hobbyist and professional model builder, who enjoys creating assembly-based modeling kits of historic/highly recognizable stations for train hobbyists. Mark is dedicated to preserving the authenticity of the buildings in the era that is modeled. Located in the Baltimore/Washington area, current focus has been on modeling local stations such as the B & O, C & O and Pennsylvania rail lines. With 30+ years experience in model building, Mark carefully researches and plans each prospective model design.

All modeling kits incorporate precision laser-cut wood and plastic components and come with a full set of plans for easy construction. Difficulty levels are provided for your reference and satisfaction. MJB Models does not recommend intermediate or advanced model kits for beginners. The Modeling eClinics page shows step by step instructions of easy kits for beginning level modelers. Please visit the N Scale and HO Scale pages for current availability in each scale. The Model Gallery  is available to view current and past models constructed by Mark.

Please feel free to leave replies with requests or feedback about the models pictured, or models on your wish list. To receive more information about kits or to place an order, fill out the order request form on the Order Now page. Prices do not include shipping.

  1. Hello,
Are you planning to produce N-Scale kits of the B&O Tower and B&O Brunswick, Dickerson, Ellicott City, Germantown and St. Denis Stations?

    • Hi Dennis,

Thanks for your question! Right now I’m looking into developing the B&O Tower in N Scale, however I haven’t set a timeline for this. There aren’t any immediate plans to make the other HO Scale models in N Scale, but if there is enough interest I may make them in N Scale in the future.

    • Hi James,

Apologies for the late response. From time to time I partner with the local B&O S scale group to produce some models in that scale. If I am doing a model in S scale, that where it would be posted. Here is the link: http://nasg.org
